Christopher Chung bet from the button and John Monnette raised to three bets from the small blind. Chung made the call and drew two while Monnette drew one.

After the first draw Monnette bet and Chung called. Both players drew one.

Monnette checked and called a bet from Chung after the second draw. Chung stood pat while Monnette drew one.

With no draws left Monnette fired another bet. After briefly considering his options Chung made the call.

"Deuces" Monnette said, indicating that he had made a pair on the last draw and turned it into a bluff.

Chung tabled 10x8x6x4x3x and took down a nice pot with ten-high.

Both players checked after the first draw. Once again Monnette drew two and Leonard drew three.

After the second draw Monnette bet and was called by Leonard. This time Monnette stood pat while Leonard drew one.

With no draws left Monnette fired another bet sending Leonard deep into the tank. After approximately two minutes of Leonard decided on a call.

Monnette showed 8x7x6x5x3x for the winner and dragged in the majority of Leonard's remaining chips.

Bets and Raises and Chickens Oh My!

Christopher Chung raised in the small blind and got a call from John Monnette in the big blind. Chung drew one, while Monnette needed three.

Chung bet after the draw and got another call from Monnette. Chung then patted, while Monnette needed two cards.

After another bet from Chung, Monnette called again, still needing one card versus another Chung pat.

Then the fun began.

Chung now checked and Monnette bet. Chung then check-raised, but after a moment of pause, Monnette three-bet Chung.

This didn't dissuade Chung who then four-bet, but Monnette capped it with a fifth bet, which Chung called.

Each player then excitedly rolled over their 7x5x4x3x2x for, as Chung exclaimed in disbelief, "two chickens!"

The players then gathered up their bets from the split pot and laughed, as the legend of James Williams lives on.

Leonard bet after the first draw and was called by Chung, who drew two while Leonard drew one.

After the second draw Leonard bet again and was all in and at risk after Chung called. Leonard stood pat.

"I don't think I can break this" Chung said before standing pat as well.

Leonard had just a slightly better nine-six-five than his opponent but it was enough to keep his tournament dreams alive and effectively triple his chip stack.

Leonard bet again after the first draw, leaving only a few chips behind and Monnette called.

After the second draw Leonard checked and Monnette bet. Leonard called to put himself all in at risk once again. Leonard drew one and and Monnette stood pat.

Leonard had drawn into an eight-seven on the final draw which was enough to best Monnette's nine-seven and secure a key double up, bringing him close to even with Monnette.

They checked to the second draw where Leonard now only needed one card while Chung still needed two.

Leonard now bet and after a bit of thought, Chung chose to call.

Leonard stood pat and quickly bet after Chung drew one once again.

Chung thought again for a bit and then tossed four blue T-100,000 chips in Leonard's direction. Leonard would gather them shortly after, showing 9x8x5x4x2x for another winner.
