After ten more levels of play yesterday only 18 players remain from the original field of 522 in Event #30: $1,500 Limit 2-7 Triple Draw at the 2023 World Series of Poker at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas. Among those who found a bag for Day 3 are former bracelet winners Benny Glaser, John Monnette, Patrick Leonard, Tom Schneider, Ryan Hughes and Carol Fuchs. Glaser won this event back in 2015 and will be aiming to do so again this year for a fifth career WSOP gold bracelet. Monnette and Schneider will also be vying for their 5th bracelet while Allen Kessler, who recently celebrated 100 cashes at the WSOP will be aiming for his first.
Glaser (1,185,000) and Monnette (1,150,000) bagged the two biggest stacks at the end of day two but others to end the day with over 1,000,000 chips include Ziyuan Wang, Michael Rodrigues Pires Santos, Patrick Leonard and Alexander Freund. Rostislav Tsodikov and Tom Schneider will be coming in as the short stacks with 70,000 and 250,000 chips respectively and will have their work cut out for them in terms of navigating this star-studded field to it's conclusion.

Rostislav Tsodikov opened from under the gun and Benny Glaser defended from the big blind. Tsodikov drew two and Glaser drew three.
Glaser bet after the first draw and Tsodikov called putting himself all in and at risk. Glaser stood pat and Tsodikov drew two.
With only one draw remaining, Glaser stood pat again. Tsodikov took about 30 seconds to consider his move before drawing two.
Glaser showed 10x9x6x5x4x while Tsodikov had 7x6x3x going into the final draw. His last two cards were AxAx giving him a pair, ending his impressive run in 18th place.

Allen Kessler raised on the button and got calls from Patrick Leonard in the small blind and carol Fuchs in the big blind.
Each player drew two and after Leonard checked, Fuchs bet and was called by both opponents.
On the second draw, Leonard and Fuchs drew one, while Kessler still needed two cards.
After another check from Leonard, Fuchs bet and got raised by Kessler. Leonard folded, but Fuchs called.
Both players stood pat and after Fuchs checked, Kessler bet and Fuchs called.
"Smooth eight" purred 'The Chainsaw', rolling over his 8x5x4x3x2x, which was good for the win to put him into seven figures on the chip counts.

Several bets were already in the middle following the final draw which saw Tom Schneider bet his final 40,000 chips, which got called by Josh Damm.
'Captain Tom' showed 7x6x5x3x2x for number three, which took down the pot to earn him an early double up off his short stack.

Tana Karnchanakphan opened from the small blind and Thomas Taylor defended his big blind. Karnchanakphan drew two while Taylor drew one.
Karnchanakphan bet again after the first draw and Taylor called. This time both players drew one.
After the second draw Karnchanakphan bet again and Taylor called to put himself all in at risk. Both players stood pat.
Karnchanakphan had 9x7x high and Taylor showed 8x7x6x5x3x for the winner to keep his tournament life alive.

Picking action up before the final draw, Tana Karnchanakphan checked in the cutoff and Thomas Taylor put in his last bet.
Karn called and then drew one while Taylor patted.
Taylor revealed his 9x7x4x3x2x, while Karnchanakphan showed 6x5x4x2x, drawing to a nine, eight or seven.
Karn peeled an 8x to give him the winner and eliminate the Canadian from the field.

Bets and raises were exchanged before the draws that left carol Fuchs with one T-5,000 chip left on the button versus Louis Hillman in the small blind and Michael Rodrigues in the big blind.
Hillman drew one, Rodrigues also drew one, and Fuchs took two.
Hillman then checked, Rodrigues bet, Fuchs put in her final chip and Hillman called as well.
Hillman and Fuchs each drew one while Rodrigues patted.
Hillman then check-called a bet from his Portuguese opponent and drew one again, while Rodrigues and Fuchs stood pat.
The final betting round was checked down with Rodrigues showing 10x6x4x3x2x to take the side pot as Hillman missed on his final draw, while Fuchs showed 8x6x4x3x2x to take the main pot.
