Chidwick Plays Hero on the River
Action is picked up on the 8♠5♣9♦ flop when recent Wynn Millions champion, Michael Rossitto checked his action over to high stakes crusher, Stephen Chidwick who put out a bet of 4,000. Rossitto didn't think for too long and made the call.
The Q♣ turn landed and Rossitto started with a check. Chidwick quickly checked behind.
The dealer burned and turned the A♥ river and Rossitto checked once more. Chidwick went into the tank for a moment before puting out a value sizing of 7,000.
With action back on Rossitto he sat in the tank for about a minute before reaching for enough chips to put Chidwick all in and stuck them in the middle.
Chidwick went deep into the tank with a decision for his tournament life. It appeared he went back and forth on his decision multiple times but finally he flicked in the remainder of his chips and the cards hit their back.
Rossitto showed 5♠2♠ for just bottom pair and Chidwick showed that he made a great hero call on the river with 9♥10♣ for just middle pair. Chidwick gets the pure double just minutes after taking his seat.
