Tugwell Pulls in a Double
Niveau 7
Action was heads up with well over 25,000 in the middle and 2♦4♣10♠K♦ on the board when Jeffrey Tugwell got the last of his chips into the middle. An opponent across the table called and the cards were turned up. Tugwell showed 10♦10♣ for a set of tens and his opponent had K♠J♠ for the top pair of kings. The river was an inconsequential 6♥ and Tugwell picked up a double.
