Action checked through on the flop to arrive at a 9♠ turn card that saw Hintz check before his opponent bet out 1,000.

Hintz made the call and both players watched as the 2♥ landed on the river. Action checked through to showdown and the late position player said, "Ace high."

Hintz, offering his first hint of the hand, responded, "I've got a five," as he showed A♦5♣ which was good enough to collect the pot and send his opponent's cards into the muck.

The action was picked up in a pot of close to 9,000 on a board showing 8♣6♣4♠9♥. The big blind bet out 6,500 and Michael Lofgren raised it up to 13,000 on the button, which the big blind called.

The A♣ hit the river and the big blind moved all in, covering the 16,500 remaining for Lofgren, who went deep in the tank. After close to a minute of thought, Lofgren asked the table a question.

"Is there a rebuy in this?" said Lofgren as he contemplated his decision. The table answered yes and Lofgren announced call.

His opponent rolled over Q♣5♦ for a bluff and Lofgren tabled 6♦4♦ for two pair to scoop the pot and score a full double up.

The big blind checked once again, leading to an all in from Davis for his last 10,000. The player in the big blind made the call pretty quickly to set up a one card runout with Davis at risk and the cards on their backs.
