Matt Szymaszek bet from the button and received calls from Ryan Pedigo in the small blind and Daniel Strelitz in the big blind. Szymaszek and Pedigo each drew two while Strelitz drew three. All three players checked after the first draw and drew two for the second.

After the second draw Pedigo bet, Strelitz made it two bets and both Szymaszek and Pedigo made the c all. Strelitz stood pat while both of his opponents drew one each.

With no draws remaining Pedigo checked, Strelitz bet and Szymaszek raised it to two big bets. Pedigo got out of the way and Strelitz made the call.

Szymaszek tabled 7x5x4x3x2x for the best possible hand to take down a nice pot.

Perry Gets Respect

Ralph Perry raised from the hijack and was called by John Turner on the button and Brian Yoon in the big blind.

Yoon drew two, Perry drew one, and Turner drew two on the first draw. Yoon then checked to Perry, who bet. Both Turner and Yoon called.

The same drawing action occurred on the second draw and Yoon again checked to Perry, who bet. This time Turner folded and Yoon check-raised. Undeterred, Perry made it three bets to go.

Yoon let his hand go and Perry collected the pot without a showdown.

Mark Epstein called from the small blind and Jon Turner checked from the big blind leaving action heads up. Epstein drew two while Turner drew four.

After the first draw Epstein bet and was called by Turner. Both players drew one.

Epstein fired again after the second draw, Turner called and drew one, Epstein stood pat.

Both players checked with no draws remaining. Epstein tabled 9x7x6x4x3x to win the pot.

Massey Continues to Climb

Robert Campbell raised first-to-act and action folded around to Michelin Massey in the small blind, who three-bet. Campbell called.

Both players drew two on the first draw and Campbell called a bet from Massey.

Massey stood pat on the second draw and Campbell drew one. Massey bet and Campbell again called.

Massey remained pat on the final draw and Campbell drew one. This time, however, Campbell folded to a bet from Massey.

Massey Takes from Wattel

Mike Wattel limped in from the small blind and Michelin Massey opted to raise from the big blind. Wattel made the call and drew three while Massey drew two.

After the first draw Massey fired another bet and was called by Wattel. Massey drew one and Wattel drew two.

Massey continued with another bet after the second draw and once again Wattel made the call, drawing one while Massey stood pat.

With no draws left Massey bet once more and this time Wattel made the fold.

Johansson Takes From Chan

Action folded around to the blinds, where Terrence Chan raised from the small and Oscar Johansson called from the big.

Chan drew two and Johansson drew three on the first draw. Chan then check-called a bet from Johansson.

Chan drew two again and Johansson drew one on the second draw. Chan again check-called a bet.

Both players drew one on the final draw and Chan check-called once more.

Johannson announced, "Ninety-eight," as he turned over 9x8x7x5x2x and Chan mucked — conceding the pot to Johansson.
