Martirosian Makes a Move
Niveau 1
: Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Steven Veneziano and Artur Martirosian were heads-up in a pot with a little over 100,000 in the middle. The completed board read K♦8♥2♠K♠A♦ and Veneziano threw in a bet of 130,000 on the river.
Martirosian shoved all in as the bigger stack, putting Veneziano to the test for his stack of 1,069,000. Veneziano went into the tank, using three of his time banks before making the call. Martirosian tabled A♣2♣ and Veneziano threw his K♣9♦ in the air as if he lost.
"You win," Seth Davies said at the table.
"Oh," Veneziano laughed. "I was just so sure that I lost."
