Kornuth Eliminates Brewer
Niveau 5
: Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Chance Kornuth raised from early position and was three-bet by Chris Brewer from the big blind to 110,000. Kornuth responded by four-betting to 205,000 and Brewer moved all-in, with Kornuth making the call.
Chris Brewer: 10♣10♦
Chance Kornuth: A♦Q♠
It was a classic flip, but Kornuth would pull ahead immediately in the form of the A♣ on the 7♥A♣K♥ flop and would stay ahead on a runout of 5♣J♠, for a final board of 10♥A♣K♥5♣J♠, sending Brewer to the rail.
