The turn brought the 9♥ and both players checked through to the A♥ on the river. Brewer tabled Q♦10♦ at showdown but Kornuth had A♦K♠ for two pair.

On the next hand, Kornuth raised to 425,000 again and Alfred Decarolis called from the big blind. The flop fell A♦K♦8♦ and Kornuth continued with a bet of 200,000. Decarolis check-raised to 1,000,000 and Kornuth laid his hand down.

Following that, Kornuth opened to 425,000 for the third straight hand but received no action.
