Alt Raises On The River
Niveau 5
: Blinds 300/500, 500 ante
Player in the cutoff position raised to 1,200. However, on the button, Dinesh Alt three-bet to 3,600. Everyone folded except for the initial raiser, who called.
On the 4♣9♦2♠ flop, both players checked and the 6♦ appeared on the turn. The cutoff took advantage of this card and bet 2,500, which Alt called.
The river brought the J♠. The cutoff player placed 3,500 chips in front of him. Alt took a few seconds to think, and after a brief hesitation, the Swiss player raised to 15,000. His opponent immediately folded, allowing Alt to claim the pot.
