Taylor Gaining Traction

Niveau 10 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Thomas Taylor
Thomas Taylor

Two players limped before Thomas Taylor checked his option in the big blind.

The dealer fanned a flop of AK8 and all three players checked to see the J turn.

Taylor and the under-the-gun limper checked once more and the cutoff put out a bet of 2,200. Only Taylor called.

The 4 hit the river and Taylor checked, followed by the cutoff doing the same. Taylor tabled A7 for top pair, which was good as he added to his stack.

Player Needs a To Go Cup

Niveau 10 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

From late position Muhammad Abdel Rahim raised, the small blind moved all in for 37,600, and Rahim called.

Muhammad Abdel Rahim: QJ
Small Blind: JJ

Dominated, Rahim would need some help from the flop. He got a long way towards it when it fell 10K8.

A 5 turn gave the small blind a brief reprieve, but the 9 completed the suck out.

As the player was getting up from the table the cocktail waitress came over with a drink he had ordered. "The final indignity," he said.

Kuran Doesn't Have to Show

Niveau 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

The hijack opened to 3,000 and Carl Kuran three-bet to 9,500 on the button. The blinds got out of the way and the cutoff made the call.

When the flop came K43, both players checked to see the J.

The cutoff led for 8,000 and Kuran called.

When the 3 landed, the cutoff slowed down with a check, and Kuran checked back. The cutoff decided he'd rather not show so he mucked his hand and Kuran followed suit as the dealer pushed him the pot.

Saechao Lands the Death Blow, Coppola Completes the Job

Niveau 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

An early position player got it all in, Kao Saechao called from late position and the button called.

Early Position: KJ
Kao Saechao: 99
Button: JJ

Saechao spiked a nine for trips on a 89A flop, but still had to dodge the early position player's spades. A 24 turn and river did the trick. Saechow eliminated the button and left the early position player with only enough for his big blind ante.

The next hand only Fabio Coppola in the small blind was willing to take on the all in big blind.

Fabio Coppola: A5
Big Blind: 87

The big blind got no help from a 35K210 runout, slapped the table rail in defeat and made his way to the exit.

Degarmo Shows

Niveau 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Three players brewed a pot of about 8,000 and the flop read A22. The action was checked to Craig Degarmo and he dropped a bet of 4,000 across the line. Only one opponent called.

The 9 hit the turn and once checked to, DeGarmo bet 5,000 and that was enough for his opponent to surrender the pot. DeGarmo let him know it was a good fold as he showed AJ.
