Phil Hellmuth raised it up to 45,000 in the hijack and was then three-bet by Phil Ivey in the cutoff, who made it 160,000 to go. It folded back to Hellmuth and he reluctantly gave up.
A few hands later, Johannes Becker defended his big blind against a button raise by Kristopher Tong and checked the J♦7♣3♠ flop. Tong bet 50,000 for Becker to check-raise to 150,000 and the call by Tong followed.
They checked down the 5♠ turn and 4♥ river as Becker announced a trey. Tong had that beat with the 10♣10♦ to chip up.
