Phil Ivey Eliminated in 6th Place ($228,793)
Niveau 23
No-Limit Hold'em
With blinds of 40,000-80,000 in the new game variant, Phil Ivey open-jammed for 1,500,000 from the hijack and Talal Shakerchi called on the button.
Phil Ivey: 3♠3♥
Talal Shakerchi: A♣J♣
The A♥6♠5♣ flop improved Shakerchi to a pair of aces and the 7♣ turn reduced the outs of Ivey to a non-club three or four.
No miracle came with the 6♣ river as Shakerchi further improved to an ace-high flush to eliminate Ivey in sixth place for $228,793.
