Roberts Takes Down Laplante
Niveau 20
: Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Christian Roberts and Ryan Laplante were in a three-bet pot with around 150,000 in the middle. The flop came 10♦8♥5♣ and Roberts check-called a bet of 65,000 from Laplante.
The turn was the 3♠ and Roberts checked again. Laplante slid out a bet of 120,000, leaving himself with just 50,000 behind. Roberts announced all in and Laplante waited for the pay jump before calling it off.
Roberts flipped over A♦10♥ for top pair and Laplante was left drawing slim with A♥K♦. The river was the 2♠ and Laplante was eliminated, passing his chips over to Roberts.
