Fernandez Comes Out on Top

The action was back on Baker who tanked for over two minutes before Fernandez called the clock. Baker finally decided to fold and the other two hands were tabled.

The turn brought the 7♣ and both players checked to the K♠ on the river. Negreanu led out with a bet of 125,000 on the river which put his opponent in the tank. After a couple of minutes, he eventually called and Negreanu tabled 9♦6♠ for a straight to claim the pot.
