Zhen Cai limped in as Joey Couden came along in the small blind and Shaun Deeb checked his option.

The flop came 398 and action checked to Cai, who bet 300,000. Couden called while Deeb got out of the way.

Couden led out for 1,000,000 on the 10 turn and Cai tanked for about a minute before he cut out the chips to call and slid them into the middle.

The river came the 7 and Couden quickly checked. Cai spent another few moments tanking before he tapped a chip on the felt.

Couden opened up K952 for a flush and a low and Cai mucked, claiming he had Jx7x.

Deeb Takes Big Hit as Couden Raises the River

In a blind versus blind battle, Joey Couden bet 100,000 on a flop of A84 and Shaun Deeb called.

The turn came the K and Couden now checked. Deeb fired out 400,000 and Couden called to see the 4 river.

He checked again and Deeb came out with 800,000 this time. Couden quickly pushed forward two towers of chips, raising to 2,800,000 as Deeb shot out of his chair.

Deeb kneeled on his seat and leaned over the table as he tanked for several minutes before sliding in a call. Couden turned over AK64 for fours full of aces and Deeb mucked as Couden opened up a big chip lead.

Leffingwell Triples, Cai Takes From Couden

William Leffingwell raised to 200,000 from under the gun and Joey Couden called on the button before Zhen Cai, in the big blind, potted to 850,000. Both opponents called.

The flop came 5J6 and Cai potted again, this time for 2,700,000. Leffingwell called for 900,000 and Couden also announced he was all in, covering Cai who committed his last 1,870,000.

Leffingwell turned over AK92, Cai had AA86 and Couden A743.

Leffingwell began calling for a diamond and got his wish as the board ran out 10K, giving him a flush on the river to earn the triple up. Cai took the side pot off Couden with his pair of aces.

Guerrero and Couden Chop It Up
