Zhen Cai limped in as Joey Couden came along in the small blind and Shaun Deeb checked his option.

The flop came 3♦9♣8♦ and action checked to Cai, who bet 300,000. Couden called while Deeb got out of the way.

Couden led out for 1,000,000 on the 10♥ turn and Cai tanked for about a minute before he cut out the chips to call and slid them into the middle.

The river came the 7♦ and Couden quickly checked. Cai spent another few moments tanking before he tapped a chip on the felt.

Couden opened up K♠9♦5♦2♣ for a flush and a low and Cai mucked, claiming he had Jx7x.

Joey Couden raised to 200,000 and got called by Shaun Deeb from the cutoff and Carlos Guerrero in the big blind leading to a 9♦6♥8♥ flop.

Action checked to Deeb who bet out for 500,000 and got called only by Guerrero to see the 3♠ turn.

Action checked through to a 4♦ river card. Guerrero paused briefly before announcing pot and getting a quick fold out of Deeb.

Deeb Takes Big Hit as Couden Raises the River

In a blind versus blind battle, Joey Couden bet 100,000 on a flop of A♦8♠4♣ and Shaun Deeb called.

The turn came the K♥ and Couden now checked. Deeb fired out 400,000 and Couden called to see the 4♠ river.

He checked again and Deeb came out with 800,000 this time. Couden quickly pushed forward two towers of chips, raising to 2,800,000 as Deeb shot out of his chair.

Deeb kneeled on his seat and leaned over the table as he tanked for several minutes before sliding in a call. Couden turned over A♥K♦6♦4♥ for fours full of aces and Deeb mucked as Couden opened up a big chip lead.

Leffingwell Triples, Cai Takes From Couden

William Leffingwell raised to 200,000 from under the gun and Joey Couden called on the button before Zhen Cai, in the big blind, potted to 850,000. Both opponents called.

The flop came 5♠J♦6♦ and Cai potted again, this time for 2,700,000. Leffingwell called for 900,000 and Couden also announced he was all in, covering Cai who committed his last 1,870,000.

Leffingwell turned over A♠K♣9♦2♦, Cai had A♥A♦8♣6♥ and Couden A♣7♣4♣3♣.

Leffingwell began calling for a diamond and got his wish as the board ran out 10♥K♦, giving him a flush on the river to earn the triple up. Cai took the side pot off Couden with his pair of aces.

All three players checked to the river on a board of K♦Q♣3♥3♣J♣ when Couden bet. Cai called and Guerrero folded.

Couden turned over A♣9♦8♣7♥ for the flush and Cai mucked his hand.

Action checked through on the turn to bring out the 5♠ on the river.

Guerrero checked and Couden bet out 2,000,000 and was quickly called by Guerrero who showed the A♣10♥8♥4♠2♣ which chopped the pot with the A♠J♦8♦7♦2♦ of Couden.

The two players fist bumped as they each dragged in half the pot.
