Hartshorn Correctly Calls For a Chop
Niveau 18
: Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Omaha Hi-Lo
Kosei Ichinose was in the hijack and bet on a flop of 6♠10♣5♦. Clinton Hartshorn called in the small blind, as did big blind Martin Lategui.
The turn came the 8♠ and Ichinose bet again. Both opponents called to see the 5♥ river, where Ichinose opened the betting a third time.
Hartshorn called and Lategui also stuck around. Ichinose showed A♥J♦6♥2♦ for the low, Lategui had K♦K♣9♠4♠, while Hartshorn turned over A♣A♦10♠4♠ to take the high.
"You didn't love it, but you had to," a tablemate told Hartshorn as he collected half the pot.
