Niveau 16 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Scott Clements
Scott Clements

Omaha Hi-Lo

Jared Hemingway raised in the hijack and was called by Andrew Seabright on the button and Scott Clements in the big blind.

The flop came 23J and Hemingway continued with a bet. Both Seabright and Clements called to the 2 turn.

Action checked to Seabright and he bet. Clements now came back with a raise and both opponents called. Clements led out on the 2 river and only Hemingway called this time.

Clements turned over J1072 for quad deuces and took the pot.

"That's how you become chip leader. Defend the big," a tablemate said following the hand.

Kessler Gets Quartered

Niveau 16 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Big O

Ben Tang limped in the cutoff along with Allen Kessler from the small blind. The big blind checked their option and all three saw a 752 flop.

Kessler and the big blind checked over to Tang who bet out 3,000. Kessler called and the big blind folded, leading to a 2 turn card.

Kessler and Tang both checked through to the 3 river, which saw Kessler lead for the first time in the hand with a bet of 5,000. Tang answered back by potting to put Kessler all in and after about five seconds, Kessler said, "Wow," before sliding his chips into the pot.

Kessler showed the 1010643 but was sharing the same high hand (six-high straight) with Tang's A6654 with Tang also holding the nut low.

Tang chipped up nicely in the hand while Kessler started the day getting quartered.

Matusow Chops a Pot, Gives Zamani a Lesson

Niveau 16 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Big O

Martin Zamani had just chopped a pot at Mike Matusow's table when afterward Matusow discussed the strategy of the hand with him.

"Mike, don't give Martin lessons in this," Shaun Deeb called over from another table.

"What, I'm an expert," Zamani replied, pointing to his 250,000 stack.

Matusow then got involved in his own pot, raising to 2,000 and getting called by Mark Roland in the big blind.

Both players checked the J76 flop before Roland led out for 5,000 on the K turn.

Matusow called and Roland checked the 5 river. Matusow checked behind and Roland turned over KJ for two pair. Matusow had A3 for the low and they split another pot at this table.

Deeb, meanwhile, has already increased his stack on Day 2 to 275,000.

Pisarenko, Hinkelmann Chop Up Zyrin, Gupta

Niveau 16 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

As the table was comparing Anatolii Zyrin's fisherman cap to Indiana Jones, Ash Gupta raised in middle position and was called by Maksim Pisarenko in the cutoff, button Heiko Hinkelmann, and Zyrin in the big blind.

The flop came 745 and action checked to Pisarenko, who tossed out a bet and all three opponents called.

Pisarenko bet again on the 7 turn and again, he received three calls. The river came the A and Pisarenko bet for the third time.

Hinkelmann then raised and Zyrin called. Gupta folded, but Pisarenko put in another raise. Both Zyrin and Pisarenko called.

Pisarenko turned over AJ32 for the nut low, while Hinkelmann had AJ75 for a full house and he and Pisarenko split up Zyrin's and Gupta's contributions to the pot.
