Holmes Triples
Niveau 20
: Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
John Holmes had a short stack at risk and was covered all in preflop by the larger stack of the player to his right.
Short Stack: 10♠4♠
John Holmes J♥J♠
Big Stack: A♥8♥
It ran out a slight sweat with 6♦7♥2♣4♣, as the short stack could catch a five to make a straight, but when the 8♦ came, the pot was awarded to Holmes. The bigger stack to his right bemoaned his inability to fold, as it ended up costing him an additional five big blinds to call Holmes reshove.
