Classic Flip for Meeker

Niveau 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Action folded to Ronald Meeker in middle position who opened to 2,200. The player next to act went all in for 9,400. Everyone else folded and Meeker made the call.

The cards were tabled.

All-in Player: A♦K♠
Ronald Meeker: Q♣Q♥

The players had a fair fight going to the 8♠J♣A♥ flop. With the all-in player now ahead Meeker gained some outs on the 10♥ turn. The 9♠ river was one of the cards he needed and Meeker would scoop the pot with a straight.
