Sheffield Bombs the River
Niveau 28
: Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Action folded to seven time bracelet winner Billy Baxter in late position who opened to 250,000. It then folded to Keith Sheffield who defended his big blind.
The 8♥7♠A♣ flop landed and Sheffield check called a bet of 250,000 from Baxter. The turn brought an A♦ and action checked through. The 4♥ landed on the river and Sheffield opted to put out a sizeable bet of 700,000. Baxter thought it over for a bit but ultimately folded.
Sheffield took a sizeable pot off the legend to gain some ground in chip count.
