Gott Out in Cruel Fashion
Niveau 30
: Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante
Action went three ways to the flop, which came 6♠Q♦J♠.
David Thompson checked from the big blind. Patrick Viret led out from middle position and was promptly raised by Matthew Gott.
Thompson got out of the way, Viret put in another raise, Gott went all in and Viret called with a covering stack.
Matthew Gott: A♥K♥
Patrick Viret: 10♠10♦
The turn brought the 10♣ giving Gott the Broadway straight. But a Q♣ on the river paired the board, making a full house for Viret and knocking Gott out.
