Amin Mostafavi Eliminated in 11th Place ($58,744)

Niveau 35 : Blinds 250,000/500,000, 500,000 ante
Amin Mostafavi
Amin Mostafavi

Dan Heimiller limped from the hijack, as did Amin Mostafavi in the small blind. Lonnie Hallett in the big blind checked their option.

A monotone flop of J93 encouraged Mostafavi to bet 1,500,000. Hallett folded and Heimiller asked how much Mostafavi was playing. Mostafavi cut out their chips so Heimiller could assess easier. The 2014 seniors champion announced all in and was called by Mostafavi quickly.

Amin Mostafavi: J3
Dan Heimiller: Q9

Heimiller was concerned that Mostafavi had a flush, but still had trepidations when they tabled two pair. Heimiller needed a queen or a diamond to take the lead, which he got on the 10 turn to get a flush. The A completed the board and Mostafavi bubbled the final table.

Heimiller Takes the Chip Lead and Leaves Festch with Dust

Niveau 35 : Blinds 250,000/500,000, 500,000 ante
Dan Heimiller
Dan Heimiller

Shannon Fahey bet 1,200,000 with AJ from under the gun and was met with a raise from Dan Heimiller in early position for 3,200,000 holding QQ. Ron Fetsch in the big blind cold-called with AK. Fahey elected to fold.

The flop came 873 and Heimiller bet 4,000,000 which was snap-called by Festch. The 8 paired the board on the turn and Festch led out for 5,000,000.

Heimmiller took a moment to process the preceding actions. Heimiller opted to click back with a bet of 13,000,000. Fetsch asked for a count of the bet and then announced all-in which was snap-called by Heimiller who was at risk for 17,030,000.

Festch needed an ace or king on the river to eliminate Heimiller. Instead, the Q completed the board to give Heimiller a boat and the chip lead. Festch was left with 13 big blinds.
