Halatenko Pots the Turn Against Garza

Niveau 33 : Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

Stanislav Halatenko opened to 1,200,000 out of the small blind with the AK103 and Arthur Morris defended the AK62. The JJ6 flop saw Halatenko check and Morris bet 500,000 to win the pot uncontested.

A few hands later, Halatenko raised to 1,000,000 on the button with the KQQ8 and Lou Garza defended the QJ109. The A82 flop was checked by Garza and Halatenko continued for 700,000, earning a call from Garza.

With 4,000,000 in the middle to the K turn, Garza checked his broadway draw and Halatenko bet the full pot. Garza went deep into the tank and eventually sent his cards into the muck.
