Costa Cracks Aces, Nearly Mucks the Winner
Niveau 3
: Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
A player in middle position opened to 800 and Peter Costa three-bet to 2,800 from the hijack. A player in the big blind called before the initial raiser four-bet to 7,900. Costa five-bet all in, the big blind got out of the way and the middle position player snap-called to put Costa at risk.
Peter Costa: K♥Q♠10♠3♥
Middle Position Player: A♠A♣K♦J♦
Costa was in bad shape preflop. The board ran out 3♣K♣4♥J♦3♦. Costa nearly mucked his cards until his table mates pointed out that he had a full house, resulting in Costa receiving a full double up.
