Capitan Sends Franklin Out
Niveau 21
: 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Ryan Franklin raised to 65,000 from under the gun. Bogdan Capitan, the button, then raised enough to put Franklin all in. Franklin called and was at risk.
Ryan Franklin: A♦K♦J♠10♠
Bogdan Capitan: A♠A♥9♠6♦
The flop of 9♣8♦6♣ had Capitan firmly in the lead, although Franklin had flopped an open-ended straight draw. The 10♣ turn gave Franklin a pair, and more outs. The river brought the 4♣, though, and Franklin exited the tournament area.
