Morris Doubles Through Pearson
Niveau 29
: Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante
In a three-way limped pot to the J♣7♦2♥ flop, Arthur Morris bet 425,000 from under the gun and Travis Pearson raised from the next seat. Sam Soverel folded and Morris pushed his chips into the middle.
Arthur Morris: Q♦J♠10♥7♥
Travis Pearson: A♥J♥7♣5♦
The 4♠ turn gave Pearson a gutshot wheel draw to go with his live card but instead, it was Morris who improved thanks to the 10♠ river and scored a double-up.
