Morris Doubles Through Garza
Niveau 33
: Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante
Arthur Morris limped in from the small blind before Lou Garza, the big blind, raised to 1,200,000. Morris decided to call.
The flop came 2♣Q♣Q♥, and Morris bet the pot for 2.8 million. Garza thought for a few moments before raising to put Morris all in for his last 100,000, and the money made its way to the middle.
Arthur Morris: K♣10♣7♦2♦
Lou Garza: K♠K♦9♦4♣
Morris was looking for a club or a deuce, but could not find one on the 6♦ turn. Morris' rail then erupted as the 5♣ hit the river, as Morris doubled up.
