Halatenko Rides Bluff Into Second
Niveau 35
: Blinds 300,000/600,000, 600,000 ante
Lou Garza raised to 1.2 million preflop from the button holding K♣J♣10♠10♥. Stanislav Halatenko then reraised to 4.2 million from the small blind with J♥9♦7♦6♥. Garza considered his options for a few moments before tossing in a call.
The flop came 2♠3♣A♦, which was no help to Halatenko. He reached out for chips, but one of his stacks fell over. As he was fixing the stack, Garza stopped him and showed him that he was folding. Halatenko smiled and turned over his bluff, showing that he had nothing.
