Team Munteanu Eliminated in 23rd Place ($6,426)

Niveau 24 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Bogdan Munteanu - Dragos Trofimov
Bogdan Munteanu - Dragos Trofimov

Team Munteanu moved all-in from the button and was called by John Ventre of Team Gallo in the small blind.

Team Munteanu: KJ
John Ventre: A5

Ventre had the slight lead heading into the flop and the 25A board would leave Team Munteanu needing runner-runner to catch-up.

They would get halfway there on the 10 turn but it was no dice on the 2 river, sending Team Munteanu to the payout desk.

The cards were on their backs in an all-in hand between Ramon Kropmanns of Team Kropmanns and Nipun Java of Team Java.

Nipun Java: KK
Ramon Kropmanns: AK

Team Java looked primed for the double, but just like every other time you've had kings in your life, an ace hit the flop and the full runout of A45J3 sent the prior winners of this event to the rail.

"Good luck us," said Team Lu before making the call.

Jonah LaBranche of Team LaBranche and Team Lu were all-in from the small blind and big blind, respectively.

Team Lu: AJ
Jonah LaBranche: QQ

Team Lu needed some help in the form of an ace or straight or flush cards and the J75 flop did offer that a bit, but the 8 turn and the 6 river would send them to the payout desk.

Team Gallo Doubles Through Team Java

Niveau 23 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
John Ventre - Kenneth Gallo
John Ventre - Kenneth Gallo

Team Moscati raised to 60,000 from early position and was three-bet bet by John Ventre of Team Gallo to 185,000. Action folded around to Team Java in the small blind, who put in a four-bet to 425,000, prompting Team Moscati to fold and John Ventre to move all-in for 1,630,000.

After some deliberation, Team Java made the call.

John Ventre: AA
Team Java: QQ

It was a cooler for Team Java, but the flop of 10J8 would present a few more outs. However, those outs would not materialize on the 6 turn or the 4 river, giving Team Gallo the full double.
