Rheem Forces Folds

Niveau 5

A-5 Triple Draw

Chino Rheem opened from middle position and was called by a player on the button, the small blind and David "Bakes" Baker in the big blind.

All fours players took two cards on the first draw after which the small blind checked. Baker bet, receiving calls from all of his opponents.

The second draw saw the small blind and button players take two cards while Baker and Rheem opted for one. Baker then bet again only to see Rheem raise. The button player and Baker made the call but the small blind got out of the way.

Both Baker and the button player took one more card on the final draw before Baker checked. Rheem, who had stood pat, bet, getting two folds to take down a sizable pot.

Monnette Gets Revenge

Niveau 5

A-5 Triple Draw

Picking up the action on the first draw, John Monnette in the small blind was involved in a hand with Shaun Deeb in the big blind and a player on the button. Monette took two on the first draw while Deeb and the button player chose to take one. Monnette then checked, prompting Deeb to bet. Both the button player and Monnette called to send action to the second draw.

All three players took one card on the second draw. Monnette then checked for a second time and Deeb, in no mood to slow down, tossed out a bet. That got a fold from the button player but Monnette was not going anywhere just yet and made the call.

The last draw saw Monnette take one more card and Deeb stand pat. Monnette then led out, getting a quick call from Deeb, who mucked after Monnette showed down 6x5x3x2xAx. "That's revenge" said Monnette, who told the table that Deeb had just knocked him out of an online tournament, presumably Online Event #9: $1,000 PLO Championship.
