Hinkle Foils the Bluff
Niveau 22
: Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Blair Hinkle raised to 40,000 first to act and Aaron Thivyanathan defended the big blind. The flop came J♠5♣9♣ and both players checked.
The turn was the 3♣ and Thivyanathan bet 50,000, which Hinkle called. On the Q♥ river, Thivyanathan quietly shoved the rest of his stack in for about 220,000. Hinkle talked to himself for a few seconds and called.
Aaron Thivyanathan: 8♦7♦
Blair Hinkle: A♠Q♣
Hinkle's top pair was good to knock out Thivyanathan.
Elsewhere Matthias Auer and Eugene Pleyo took early exits and were knocked out.
