Taylor Catches a Miracle River to Double
Niveau 21
: Limits 40,000/80,000, 0 ante
Limit Hold'em
Roman Verenko raised before Esther Taylor reraised on the button. Verenko called to see the 10♣3♥K♠ flop.
Verenko checked, Taylor bet, Verenko raised, and Taylor called off her remaining chips.
Esther Taylor: A♠A♣
Roman Verenko: K♣10♦
Taylor discovered the bad news when she found out Verenko had cracked her aces with a flopped two pair.
The 2♥ fell on the turn and Taylor was one card away from elimination, but the 3♦ on the river improved her to a better two pair and she doubled up.
