Katz More Than Doubles Near the Bubble
Niveau 17
: Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Two away from the money, Cary Katz was all-in and the showdown proceeded with heads-up action only as Noah Schwartz had gotten out of the way after a Q♠J♥5♣ flop.
Cary Katz: A♦A♣4♣2♠
Daniel Barriocanal: K♠K♥4♠2♥
The 4♦ turn and 7♠ river changed nothing and Katz more than doubled.
"Would you have won?" he asked Schwartz, who shook his head. "I flopped a pair and back door flush draw".
