Noda Finds the Triple, Como Left Short
Niveau 18
: 12,000/24,000, 0 ante
Mavrick Yoo started off the action with a raise on the button, which was called by Robert Como in the small blind, as well as the short-stacked Hiroyuki Noda in the big blind.
All players checked on a flop of A♥J♥2♦, bringing the 10♦ on the turn. This time Como took the initiative and bet, who was called for less by Noda, and for the full amount by Yoo.
The all saw the 4♠ on the river but only two had an option as Como fired again, this time garnering a fold from Yoo. Como turned over K♣J♠ for second pair but was only awarded a small side pot as Noda rolled over the J♦10♠ for turned two pair.
Noda had a noticeable breath of life as he scooped the pot and stacked his chips. Como, on the other hand, was left a bit deflated.
