Ilk Enjoys the River
Niveau 32
: Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
Klaus Ilk raised to 700,000 from under the gun and Ronald Lane was the lone caller in middle position.
The flop was 8♠6♦K♥ and Ilk continued for 900,000 to a call from Lane.
Both players checked the 3♥ turn to see 7♥ on the river.
Ilk fired 900,000 and Lane went into the tank before he called and turned over K♣Q♠. Ilk showed 7♠7♦ to show the rivered set of sevens to take a big pot and move above six million.
