Del Rosario Velazquez In The Rail

Niveau 5 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

After an open in middle position, the player on the button raised to 3,500. In the small blind, Maria Del Rosario Velazquez moved all in for 6,600 chips, and the button was the only one to call.

Maria Del Rosario Velazquez: 44
Button: A9

In this coin flip, luck quickly favored the button as he hit a pair of aces with K6A. He even had two pairs with the turn 9. So after the river K, Del Rosario Velazquez stood up to leave the tournament.

Beleznay Doubles Through Murphy

Niveau 5 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Michael Murphy limped from under the gun and was met with a raise from early position for 1,300. Ellwood Beleznay moved all in from the button for 7,800.

Murphy flicked in a yellow 1,000 chip to call the early position raise, not realizing Beleznay went all in. This did not deter Murphy who made the call anyway. The early position raiser opted to fold.

Ellwood Beleznay: A8
Michael Murphy: K7

It was a fair fight, but ultimately no one connected to the board of 96452 and Beleznay's ace-high was enough to double up.

Guittier's Stack Keeps Growing

Niveau 5 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Christian Guittier has already eliminated three or four players today, giving him a big stack of 160,000 chips. But the French player isn't done yet and keeps winning pots.

For example, the cutoff opened to 1,600, and Guittier called from the big blind. On J8J, he check-called the continuation bet of 1,500, and he check-called once again the second barrel of 3,000 on the turn A.

A second ace came on the river with the A, and Guittier checked once more. His opponent checked back but had no chance to win, as Guittier hit a full house on the flop with J8. The cutoff just showed the K.
