Massoud Eskandari
Massoud Eskandari

There was 560,000 in the middle on the flop of J96 and Massoud Eskandari in the small blind moved all in for 740,000. Robert Whalen went into the tank and then said "All right, lets gamble!" and made the call.

Massoud Eskandari: KK
Robert Whalen: A4

Eskandari was ahead, but Whalen could hit an ace or a spade for a flush to win the hand. The Q came on the turn, and Eskandari pleaded with the dealer for a red card. His wish was granted, but it was the A.

Eskandari was so focused on dodging a spade he celebrated for a couple of seconds before realizing his kings had been cracked by a pair of aces. Whalen collected in a massive pot, while Eskandari headed to the pay cage.

Dunbar Picks Up Aces Two Hands in a Row

Niveau 23 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Mark Dunbar raised to 65,000 on the button before the small blind shoved for 310,000. Dunbar called to put him at risk.

All-In Player: KJ
Mark Dunbar: AA

Dunbar's opponent picked up several outs on the 8J9 flop with top pair and a flush draw but bricked the Q turn and 9 river. "Thanks a lot. You couldn't put a diamond," he lamented while Dunbar raked in the pot.

Dunbar was still stacking his chips from this hand when Douglas Houghton raised to 75,000 in early position, then Dunbar three-bet to 200,000 in the cutoff.

Houghton called and both players checked the Q710 flop. The turn came the 3 and Houghton pushed all in for around 400,000.

Dunbar snap-called and flipped over AA yet again. Houghton had JJ and, while he made a flush on the 9 river, Dunbar's ace was the nut flush as he eliminated his second opponent in a row.

Another tablemate came over to rub Dunbar's stomach for good luck as he stacked up more than 2,000,000.

Niveau 23 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Three players had built up a big pot of around 400,000 heading to the river on a board of 83J98 when Robert Whalen, in the big blind, bet 150,000.

Jeffrey Yarchever on the button quickly folded, while Kevin Durgin in the small blind tanked for about a minute before tossing in a call.

"I've got nothing," Whalen said, showing 102. Durgin turned over Q10 for a straight to take down the pot.

"It took you that long? I thought you had something to think about," Whalen said to Durgin after the hand.
