Mike Thorpe: Q♦4♣J♣J♠8♠K♦K♣
Mike Thorpe got to seventh street in a heads-up pot against Chad Eveslage. Both players checked and Thorpe announced kings and jacks and someone at the table joked that "kicker plays" as Eveslage mucked.
"You mess with me, you get f***ed, or something. I dunno what to say," Thorpe said before a bit of friendly needling of the recent Dealer's Choice champion.
"Can you do me a favor and play a little better, Chad? I lost a little bit of respect for you. No, I'll always respect you. How could I not? You're an ultra-super-pro. You're in a class of your own."

Eric Wasserson: XxXx/8♥8♠8♦A♥/Xx
James Cheung: XxXx/6♦7♥9♣4♣/Xx
The action was caught when Eric Wasserson kindly requested his neighbour Mike Matusow to "shut the f*** up" when he was playing a hand against James Cheung on fourth street.
Fifth street then fell and Wasserson said: "Never mind, keep talking Mike," as he happily bet his trip eights. Cheung, however, was not going anywhere and made the call, as did he on sixth street.
On seventh, the action went check-check and Wasserson tabled A♠7♣4♥ for a full house. Cheung did not have a low as he mucked his hand, awarding the pot to Wasserson, who had only left himself one big bet behind on sixth street.
Meanwhile, David Lin was seen exiting the tournament area.

The co-host of the Cracking Aces poker podcast is competing in Event #65: $5,000 No-Limit Hold'em, his first bracelet event of the summer. Originally, the sports blogger and long-time poker player intended to grind a lengthy WSOP schedule, starting early in the series. So, why's he just now making his way to Sin City to play some cards?
