"Show One ?"

Niveau 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Lucas Monnier opened from the hijack, and Mario Niciforo in the big blind was the only one to call his 900 bet.

The flop 9710 appeared on the table, and Monnier bet another 600. However, Niciforo raised to 3,100. The French player called to see the 5 on the turn.

Niciforo continued betting, this time 5,400. Once again, Monnier called. On the river Q, when Niciforo added 13,000 more to the pot, but Monnier took a minute to observe his opponent. Even though he looked unhappy about his decision, he folded.

"Show one?" he asked a second later. Niciforo didn't answer but moved his arms as if to say: "What? Why?". The dealer collected his cards, and everybody at the table laughed at his reaction.

Karrim With the Big Squeeze

Niveau 5 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Action was opened in middle position to 800. The cutoff called and the small blind called. Action was then on Ahmed Karrim in the big blind who went into the tank for a moment before putting in a large three-bet to the tune of 6,000. Action was then back on the original raiser who didn't seem to be ready to let it go and made the call.

The 834 flop was met with a bet of 3,300 from Karrim. The original raiser went into the tank for about a minute before laying it down.

Karrim scooped a big pot with little resistance.

Pardy Is Over

Niveau 5 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

A player in the cutoff opened to 1,400, then was raised to 5,000 by Jon Pardy in the small blind. The cutoff called and checked back on the flop 437.

The 5 came on the turn, and Pardy bet 4,500. The cutoff didn't back down and called to see the river 10, where Pardy moved all in for 13,200 chips.

Just a few seconds to analyze the board were enough for the cutoff to call. "You got me," said Pardy immediately, laughing and mucking his cards. As he was all-in, the dealer revealed his cards, KQ. But it was the losing hand, as his opponent had A3 for a bottom pair.

Lucky River For Hetherington

Niveau 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

A player limped from under the gun, and was followed by Joseph Hetherington in middle position. The button and the blinds came along too, and all five of them went on to see the flop 510J.

The big blind didn't wait and bet 4,000. The under-the-gun player folded, but Hetherington went all-in for 11,500. The button and the small blind folded, then the big blind called, slightly covered, putting himself at risk.

Big Blind: 105
Joseph Hetherington: QJ

Hetherington had top pair on the flop, but his opponent had two pair. The 2 on the turn didn't change anything. But on the river came the Q, giving a better two pair to Hetherington.

Big Stack For Duffy

Niveau 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

In front of his pile of 5,000 chips, Andrew Duffy was texting his friends: "I have 160,000 chips". It is a very good start for him, and he isn't done yet. From the button, he called an open raise to 1,500 made by the player under the gun.

Both players checked on 10Q5. Then, on the turn 4, the player under the gun bet 1,500. Duffy called to see the river K. The player under the gun bet again, this time 3,500, but Duffy preferred to raise all-in instead of just calling. His opponent quickly folded, giving another pot to Duffy.
