Baker Attacks on the River
Niveau 15
: Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Action was picked up on the flop. Players were heads up, the board showed 10♣9♠6♣ and there was about 45,000 in the pot. Valeriano Toledano Moreno bet 14,000 from the small blind and David "Bakes" Baker made the call in position.
Both players checked the 6♠ turn. On the 8♠ river Moreno checked and Baker, perhaps sensing weakness, fired a 39,000 bet which was enough to force a fold from his opponent.
