Cornell Closes The Gap With Szesci
Niveau 31
: Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
In a blind versus blind situation, Norbert Szecsi limped in the small blind, but Tyler Cornell raised to 750,000 in the big blind. Szecsi called to see the flop Q♠5♠J♣.
On this first street, Cornell continued with a bet of 550,000, and then 1,700,000 on the turn 8♣. Both times, Szecsi made the call.
But on the river K♦, when Cornell bet 3,400,000 with K♥Q♣ for two pairs, Szecsi just waited a few seconds before giving up and folding 8♠7♠.
