Action was picked up three-way on the turn with about 70,000 in the middle and the baord reading K7107. Kristina Holst checked from the big blind, Anton Lu checked from the cutoff and Chris brewer bet 20,000. Both Lu and Holst made the call.

All three players checked the 6 river.

Holst showed AJ for ace-high, Lu showed K10 for flopped two pair and both Brewer and Holst's hands hit the muck.

Finger Gets the Max from Chen

Niveau 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Pete Chen raised to 8,000 on the button and was called by Martin Finger in the small blind along with the big blind. The flop fell Q72 and Chen continued with a bet of 8,000. Finger called and the big blind got out of the way.

The turn brought the A and Finger check-called another bet of 30,000 from Chen. The 7 paired the board on the river and Finger checked again. Chen announced all in and Finger instantly called off his stack of 150,000. Chen showed AK but Finger held A7 for a full house to double up.

Berkey Shows Down Ace-High

A player opened to 10,000 from under the gun and Matt Berkey defended his big blind.

Both players checked the Q88 flop leading to the 6 turn. Berkey check-called a 10,000 bet from his opponent.

On the 7 river both players checked. Berkey tabled A10 for ace-high and his opponent quickly mucked his cards.

Big Slick Earns Jones a Victory

Jiang Pu opened to 8,000 from under the gun and Cody Jones three-bet to 30,000 on the button. Pu responded with a four-bet shove all in for around 170,000 and Jones snapped him off.

Jones was in a dominating position and the flop of JJ7 left it that way despite some chop possibilities. The 4 on the turn and the 2 on the river changed nothing and Pu was bounced from the tournament.

Spirins Put to the Test by Foxen

Niveau 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Alex Foxen opened to 9,000 from the cutoff and was called by Pavel Spirins in the big blind.

Both players checked the 875 flop.

The turn came the 10 and Spirins bet 14,000, receiving a call from Foxen.

Spirins fired again on the 2 river for 36,000. Foxen raised it to 144,000, leaving a single yellow 1,000 chip behind.

Spirins, clearly put on a difficult decision, took about 30 seconds to consider his options before sticking in the call.

Foxen tabled J9 for the nut straight to receive a full double up while Spirins stack was reduced to slightly less than half of what it was before.

Ivey Refuses to Pull the Trigger

David "Bakes Baker and Phil Ivey were heads-up going to the flop of J75. Baker checked to Ivey who bet 16,000 and Baker check-raised to 36,000. Ivey called and the 8 landed on the turn.

Baker led out with a bet of 62,000 and Ivey stuck around for the A on the river. Baker checked this time and Ivey took a quick peek at his cards. He thought for a minute and then checked it back. Baker flipped over 77 for a set of sevens and Ivey sheepishly mucked his cards.

Coleman Gives Up on the River

Niveau 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Fabrice Bigot opened to 8,000 from under the gun and was called by David Coleman in the big blind. The flop came 10102 and Coleman checked to Bigot who bet 6,000. Coleman check-raised to 16,000 and Bigot called.

The turn was the Q and Coleman fired out another bet of 25,000. Bigot still called and the A landed on the river. Coleman checked this time and Bigot opted to check it back. Coleman tabled 87 for a missed flush draw while Bigot held AJ for two pair.
