Filippi Sends One Out

Niveau 10 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Amnon Filippi limped under the gun and the player directly behind him limped as well. Adam Hendrix limped along on the button and the small blind called. The player in the big blind then raised the pot to 9,000 and Filippi reraised to 31,500. Everyone else folded back around to the initial raiser, who called all in for his remaining stack.

Big Blind: AJ82
Amnon Filippi: AA107

The J99K8 runout left Filippi with an ace-high flush and he collected the rest of his opponent's chips.

Matusow Was Going to Double Up

Niveau 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Mike Matusow
Mike Matusow

Mike Matusow raised to 4,200 from middle position and Todd Witteles called from the next seat over. The rest of the table got out of the way and action was heads up to a 54A flop.

Matusow fired another pot bet and Witteles got away from it.

"I was going to double up if you called," Matusow said. "I had two pair and a deuce-six."

Matusow is back for more after his runner-up finish in Event #55: $1,500 Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo 8 or Better.

Rahim and Saechao Chop One up

Niveau 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Three ways on a Q76 flop, Kao Saechao bet 1,000 from the small blind. Ziya Rahim called from the big blind and the player under the gun raised to 15,500. Saechao re-raised to 36,000 and Rahim tanked for some time before taking out a coin and making his decision on a flip.

Rahim flipped heads, which he indicated would mean going all in, which he did. The early-position player called all in as well and hands were revealed.

Under the gun: AA93
Ziya Rahim: 10977
Kao Saechao: A1072

The 5 turn and 6 river left Rahim with a full house for high and Saechao took the low.
