Cain Chipping Up on Abernathy

Gaelle Jaudon

Niveau 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Eugenia Tehiva raised to 32,000 and Tara Caine made the call on the button, followed by Samantha Abernathy in the big blind.

The flop gave A♥6♥8♣ and it checked to Cain who bet 35,000. Only Abernathy stayed interested and made the call.

The 3♦ fell on the turn and Abernathy check-called another bet from Cain, this time for 60,000. The river was the 7♠ and both checked.

Abernathy tabled A♣10♥ for top pair, but Cain revealed A♦J♦ for the same hand with a better kicker and racked the pot.
