The Japanese vlogging sensation opens up about his start in poker, what inspired him to start a vlog, and how he’s managed to turn it into a smashing success with the help of a creative team. He also talks about his desire to win a WSOP gold bracelet, how Daniel Negreanu and Phil Hellmuth are perceived in his home country, and what the future looks like for poker in Japan.
Chad and Jesse then do a new "Calling the Clock" segment in which they offer quick two-minute dialogues for topics on “The Board.”

The cards were already tabled on a board showing 3♠5♠8♦4♣K♠, with Jin OGrady being at risk for a stack worth 55,000, holding J♦J♥. Maria Lampropulos, who held 10♦10♠, had the loosing hand and conceded the double up to OGrady.
On the table next to them, Molly Mossey sent her last chips in the middle with 8x8x and couldn't win against Shundan Xiao, who had nothing else than AxAx. Mossey made her way to the payout desk.

In a blind versus blind situation, Stephanie Baker sent her last 28,000 in the middle and Min Jung Han made the call for the following showdown:

Baker had the dominating hand and good hopes for double up when the flop first showed 7♦3♦4♣. However, a 9♣ and a 6♣ completed the board to give a runner-runner flush to Han and eliminate Baker from the event.

Ariela Masarsky opened in early position and faced a three-bet worth 32,000 from Anne Bui seated next to her. The rest off the table folded and after minute, Masarsky opted to call.
The flop showed 2♠7♣8♣ and Masarsky checked to Bui who continued for 20,000. Masarsky chose to fold this time.

The flop showed 10♠10♥9♠ with two players involved when Kayla Voogd first checked from the big blind to Tonia Williams who bet 20,000. Voogd thought about her move for a minute and raised it to 75,000, putting Williams to a decision for her remaining chips.
"You show me?" asked Williams, before folding, revealing J♠J♦. Voogd mucked her hand and grabbed the pot.

Reigning champion Jessica Teusl is still in contention as the bubble burst with a healthy stack. 2021 champion Lara Eisenberg busted earlier but 2019 champion Jiyoung Kim is also in the field, in the money with a short stack.
