First in Third at Table #403
Niveau 7
: Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
A huge three-way all in unfolded when three big pairs waged war preflop.
Austin Mei: K♠K♣
Mariano Ogandolo: 10♣10♥
Big Stack: A♦A♠
The flop put Mei way in front as the window card gave him a set on K♦7♥8♥. The turn looked like aces would hold for the side pot at least as it rolled off the 2♠, but instead the tournament life of Ogandolo was saved when the 10♠ completed the board and gave him a set to also beat the aces.
All players remain in contention but it's tough to end up with aces in third place.
