Raymond Hits River To Score Knockout
Niveau 25
: 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
A player in the hijack opened for 125,000 and it folded to Steven Raymond in the big blind who made the call.
The flop fanned out A♠8♠4♦ and Raymond checked to his opponent who moved all in for roughly 600,000. Raymond snap-called or "snapping turtle" as Mark the dealer called it, to put his opponent at risk.
Hijack: A♥J♥
Steven Raymond: A♦5♦
The hijack player was ahead with a better kicker and stayed ahead on the 3♥ turn. The river, however, fell the 5♠ and it was the two pair for Raymond that scored the pot to send his opponent to the exit.
