Ten, Ten, Ten for Tenorio; Weisner Eliminated

Niveau 27 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Melanie Weisner
Melanie Weisner

Just before the dinner break, Yvette Tenorio got into an all in altercation against Melanie Weisner.

Tenorio had woken up with pocket tens and Weisner had pocket queens, but when a ten came on the board, Tenorio might has well have shouted her name from the rooftops.

Just after returning from dinner:

Tenorio was facing an all in from Antonio Graham on her direct right and after some time, she went all in, isolating him as it folded back around.

Antonio Graham: J10
Yvette Tenorio: AK

The flop slid out 8Q8, giving Graham a gutshot. The 5 was of no help, and the A secured another knock out for Tenorio, skyrocketing her in the chip counts.

Allen Cunningham
Allen Cunningham

James Rann raised in late position and was met with an all-in bet from Allen Cunningham for about 2,500,000. Rann called and put Cunningham at risk.

Allen Cunningham: A3
James Rann: AQ

The flop left Rann in the lead when it scrolled across, 698 and nothing changed when the K fell, leaving Cunningham looking for a three but the A fell instead. Rann's kicker played to award him the pot, as both players made top pair on the river.

Cunningham was met with fist bumps from the table, as the five-time bracelet winnner was well recognized.
