Park Holds On to Double Off Morris
Niveau 5
: Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
James Park and Arthur Morris built a pot of around 165,000 heading to the 10♠9♦7♥ flop when Park, in the big blind, attempted to move all in for around 190,000 but was forced to keep 30,000 behind.
Morris tanked for a moment before shoving all in and Park called for his remaining chips.
Park had Q♠J♣10♥9♣ for two pair, while Morris showed K♦Q♦XxXx for a straight draw. The board ran out 3♥8♥ and Park finished with a straight to double up and leave Morris on a short stack.
